Comprehensive physical examinations are performed at your companion’s annual visit. We also provide extensive ophthalmologic, dermatologic, neurological and orthopedic examinations when needed.

 

Annual or semi-annual wellness testing (intestinal parasite and heartworm examinations) and vaccinations will be discussed with you in a consultation session with one of our doctors.

 

Behavioral consultations are available with Dr. Elder. In addition, Dr. Elder is the instructor for our Puppy Preschool classes which are offered on a routine basis.

 

We offer a full compliment of in-house diagnostics for both well and sick companions:

  • Complete blood count examinations

  • Serum chemistry analysis

  • Serum electrolyte analysis

  • Internal parasite examinations using centrifugation

  • Heartworm examinations

  • Radiography

We maintain a dedicated surgical suite with the highest regard for maintenance of an aseptic environment. Routine surgical procedures (spay, neuter, dental scaling and polishing) are performed with the highest standard of care for your companion animal and include the following items:

  • Pre-Anesthetic Lab Work

  • IV Catheterization and Fluid Therapy

  • Anesthesia Monitoring

  • Post-operative Pain Medication
